Petersen, a tool and die manufacturer, our company was born from a direct challenge by Henry Ford himself — to produce a portable, lightweight quarter-inch capacity power drill that could replace the large, cumbersome units used on Ford assembly lines. Petersen created the Hole Shooter, the industry's first lightweight, one-handed portable drill, and in doing so, changed the course of power tool history forever.
